2026 Beach Yoga

Memorial Day, May 25, 2026 , through Labor Day Sept 7, 2026

Firefly Beach

4903 Cleveland Ave E. (Route 6), Huron, OH

May 28th  – Sep 6th

Tucked along the shoreline just minutes from Vermilion and Sandusky, this private beach is a summer treasure. Park in the front lot near the street, or follow the driveway to park along the grassy area, opposite side to the cabins. Check in at the top of the hill. If the breeze has already carried us down, simply make your way to the beach and you’ll find us there. This Hatha style class is open to every body and every level. Come as you are, bury your toes in the sand as you stretch towards the sun.

Drop-ins are always welcome, and there’s plenty of space for everyone.
Classes are offered by donation

If the skies send rain to nourish the earth, we will cancel class and meet again under clearer skies. Any updates will be shared on the Serenity Sounds Yoga website and Facebook page at least one hour before our scheduled practice

Have unused classes with Katie Carp of Serenity Sounds Yoga? You’re welcome to use them as your donation, just let us know. To check your pass, email Katie@serenitysoundsyoga.com

About Katie (Katherine) Carp

Katie Carp (RYT 500) started practicing Hatha Vinyasa yoga, after she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2011.   Katie walked into her very first yoga class and learned that for one hour and fifteen minutes she could stop fighting herself.  Her yoga mat became a place where it was ok to forget the struggles and to just be.  She started teaching yoga to create a space where people could experience this feeling.  A moment in time to feel Strength, Confidence and Serenity just as they are. Sound has been an important part of her journey, she incorporates singing bowls into all her classes.  The notes of a singing bowl linger in the air long after the bowl is played.  The soothing vibrations allow for a deeper meditative experience.

About Sarah Jordan

Sarah Jordan is a passionate yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga since she was just 5 years old following along with her mother’s yoga tapes in the living room. Now specializing in beach yoga, she offers a unique experience that connects the body, mind, and spirit with the natural rhythm of the waves. With a deep love for our great Lake Erie, Sarah guides her students through flowing sequences while feeling the sand beneath their feet and the breeze in their hair. As a special touch, she ends each session with the soothing sounds of the ukulele, creating a peaceful and grounding moment that leaves her students feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, Sarah’s classes are designed to inspire, stretch, and bring balance to your life.
